  • How long is therapy and how frequently should I attend?
A standard individual session is 50 minutes. Longer sessions are recommended for couples: typically 90 minutes to two hours. Regarding frequency, consistency is key in order to create a good rhythm for yourself. I see clients a minimum of one time per week.
  • How much does therapy cost?
Individual therapy is $165 for a 50-minute session. Couples therapy is $200 for a 50-minute session. Longer sessions are also available for an additional fee.
  • Do you offer a free consultation?
    I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation.
  • Do you accept insurance?
I am not a part of any insurance company networks and payment is due at the time of service (I accept cash, check, credit card, and HSA cards). I am, however, an out-of-network provider for most PPO insurance plans. If you have a PPO insurance plan, please let me know during your consultation or 1st session, and then the process will be as follows: Most insurance plans require that you must first meet a deductible, and then they will begin to reimburse you directly for a percentage of each approved therapy session cost. At the end of each month, I will submit an electronic claim to your PPO on your behalf, and, if approved, you will receive a reimbursement check mailed directly to you from your insurance company. While I will assist you in this out-of-network claim process, you are ultimately responsible for understanding your unique insurance benefits and resolving issues regarding claims. When using your PPO benefits, full payment is still due at the time of each session.
